Hi all, part 2 of the Symbology behind the playing cards. If you missed my first post on 1-4, here it is.
Each playing card has a number which has a sacred geometry which allowed this ancient information to be hidden in plain sight.
The 5’s: X marks the spot
When we look at the 5, we get an X. X marks the spot, think adventure, expansion. The 5’s are here to find their own treasure linked to their suit. They can be restless, have ADD, act too impulsively and they have a strong desire for freedom.
The 5’s are all about experiences and do not want to be locked in a box (which represents the number 4). The hearts could represent relationship changes, the clubs bring new ways of thinking, the diamonds can help bring new ways of making money and the spades bring a new conscious paradigm or lifestyle.
They oftentimes find the treasure they seek and are not satisfied, which prompts them to continue on their endless search.
The 6’s: Align and balance
When we look at the 6, we have the imagery of train tracks, or a building swaying in the wind, providing a mirror for others to accept themselves. The 6 energy helps us learn about what we need to take responsibility in.
The mirror of the 6 hands us judgement and karma. When we take responsibility for our suit we can find our special purpose in this life.
The 6’s are also stable, they can get stuck or in a rut for a while and be slow to change. Any 6 can be a psychic messenger and they all have a special purpose they feel responsibility to. The goal for the 6 is to be a bit more flexible, like a building swaying in the wind. This will allow them to find that special purpose and not enter into the victim mentality.
The 7’s: Pivot and adjust
The 7’s are here to pivot and adjust in order to get ahead of the curve that pertains to their suit. The 7 is spiritual in nature. First, it is the number in the middle of each suit (Ace =1, King =13). There are 52 cards, and 5+2 = 7. There are 7 days of the week and 7 main chakras in the body. It has a foot in the mundane world and a foot in the spiritual world. It is also the only asymmetric pattern in the suit. This leads to some flip flopping or bi-polar tendencies. They can be really happy and positive or flip to be super negative and pessimistic in life.
A demonstration below shows where the pivot occurs with the pip in the middle. In order to play the 7 correct, we must adjust our control in many cases, and take a more spiritual approach to love (hearts), thinking (clubs), making money (diamonds) or our lifestyle choices (spades).
Another goal of any 7 is to fill up their spiritual cup. The 7 represents a cup, and when we find ourselves playing the low vibration of a 7, we must fill the cup with things we love to nourish ourselves.
The 8’s: Power and grace
The 8’s are the warriors, healers, and CEOs of the deck. They come into this life with power and control issues based on their karma cards. When we look at an 8, we want to imagine an ice skater performing a figure 8.
The figure 8 is not completed through control and power, it is delivered through grace. There is also the symbology of being tied up in knots. We want to leave space in-between the pips, like a woven basket to allow energy to flow in the empty spaces. This flow brings grace and harmony. It’s like a chi, a life force that allows for energy to flow as it corresponds to our suit.
The goal of our 8’s are to bring healing in the form of their suit. For hearts, they can bring an infinite amount of love to a relationship. For clubs, this means we can weave together knowledge and solve any problem. Diamonds give us infinite physical power and money making power. Spades gives us visionary consciousness and helps us weave together our imaginations to create a shared vision of how we do things in society.
The 9’s: Uplift and transcend
The 9’s are here to uplift and transcend through giving without expectation. The symbology is a ladder that starts in the middle and gives us the choice to climb up to the heavens, or down into hell.
All 9’s have an issue with a victim mentality. This would be expressed by them climbing down the ladder into hell. When they feel they have been slighted, or they feel that they are the ones that are always giving, they feel very low, depressed and victimized. This number has a lot of depressive tendencies.
They are the priests of our society, the giver of love, information, value or spirituality. When they finally let go and accept their role in this life, they are rewarded spiritually which gives them mundane rewards.
