Hey everyone, just as each day of your week is ruled by a planet, you also go through planetary periods during the year every 52 days. Let’s dive into this a bit, and then I will share an example using a birthday.
Starting with your birth date each year, you enter Mercury for 52 days, then Venus for 52 days, Mars 52 days after that, then Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune until your next birthday where you re-enter Mercury again and go through the same cycle. Take a look at the image below that shows the planetary periods for a 4/14/1991 birthday. This is taken from my report builder that you can see more of at 2ofspades.com
I want to share a bit about each period below
Mercury: the focus in this period is on your mind, what occupies your mind and how your communications will go. This period is generally quick for most people. It goes by fast. We may be prone to overthinking based on our cards or being too wrapped up in our mind. Also depending on your card, it could mean you have fantastic communication, teaching, writing abilities. There are always two sides that can be played.
Venus: the focus in this period is on the home, your family and loved ones, as well as romantic interests. Venus is feminine and may tell you how you get along with women in this period.
Mars: this period indicates where your passion or aggressive energies may be directed. Mars also rules how successful you will be in legal matters and how well you will relate to men for the year. Mars is also the planet of war, so it can tell you who or what your anger may be directed at during this period.
Jupiter: Jupiter expands us, and tells us the nature of our business for the year or how to get the most out of our affairs for the year. We only receive the positive side of the cards while in Jupiter, even if they are endings, they are blessings in disguise. Jupiter also tells us how to make more money.
Saturn: Saturn is the opposite of Jupiter and tells us what time of the year we will have the most challenges and what those challenges will be. Saturn also tells us the status of our health. It’s a time where we might get sick as well.
Uranus: Uranus is like a super mercury, it is very brainy and it delivers the unexpected during this period. It rules real-estate and the status of friendships and relationships. You can not rely on much during this period, things do not go as planned.
Neptune: Neptune is dreamy. It’s the last 52 day period before our next Birthday. We do not think straight or see right when under Neptune’s influence, it’s almost like wearing beer goggles. Neptune rules our hopes and fears. It will tell us what we are dreaming of or secretly wanting, almost at a subconscious level. It can also represent foreign travel or distant work.
Let’s do an example Birthday.
September 3, 1984, Age 38. 8 of Diamonds and King of Spades.
Let’s look at the 8 of diamonds spread at age 38. The 8 of diamonds is the sun card of the deck and looks down upon the rest of the spread. These people have great financial power in that they can make money that they want to use for a special purpose. This can come from anywhere. The 8 of Diamonds just needs to know how much they want and what purpose it will serve and they will attract this money. Now, on to their spread.
Start to look at your year as starting with your next birthday. So, for our 9/3 birthday, their year starts on 9/3 and they enter their Mercury period for 52 days until they move into Venus on 10/25.
Mercury (9/3-10/24): 3 of Hearts
Mercury is sudden and the three of hearts can indicate a heart split in two directions. So here we would not be surprised if a situation came up that leaves us surprised or confused by love or friendships. Or, this person may receive two love offers at once. 3 is the number of Gemini which is ruled by mercury, so this also means being very much in your head about love in a period where you are already in your head. It’s important to know this while in this period.
Venus (10/25-12/15): 2 of Diamonds
This represents a business partnership with a friend, lover, spouse or a woman. This partnership is bound to be profitable. It’s important to be careful when you mix love with money, but this energy promotes a love of partnerships and a desire to associate with those of means, perhaps because the 2s are a fear card, so you could be doing this out of fear of not having enough yourself. It’s important just to be careful and not let your heart rule your head.
Mars (12/16-2/6): King of Spades
Any involvement in legal matters this year will be in your favor, the King of Spades is the most powerful card in the deck. You will have good relations with men and great success in any projects that you are passionately pursuing. This card basically guarantees success in all areas of your life if you are willing to apply the wisdom he is bringing you. It also is a good time to take a leadership role in your work or business. Now is a good time for this, you can not fail. You may also feel attraction or anger towards certain men of the Spades suit during this period as Mars is the planet of war.
Jupiter (2/7-3/30): 2 of Spades
This period can bring you beneficial business partnerships that involve large sums of money. This card guarantees that your most financially successful areas will be in partnerships, in this period but for the whole year.
Saturn (3/31-5/21): Ace of Clubs
Unrealized goals are possible during this period, or unwelcome news about a sick person that you know. Saturn does teach us our lessons for the year, so it’s important to know this will be a hard period of the year. Projects that begin now will be challenging, ideas born now will be tough to implement. It can happen, you just need to work harder for it. You need a serious determined effort during this period to be successful.
Uranus (5/22-7/12): King of Clubs
The King of Clubs is the king of knowledge and you can expect success in all mental fields or at work during this time. You also have very strong intuition now. It will give you good insights into your work and the areas that will help you be successful. Men of the clubs suit at this time will seem unpredictable to you, it’s just part of being in Uranus, do not expect much out of them during this time.
Neptune (7/13-9/2): Queen of Spades
Through medication and inner reflection, you can achieve great changes in your life. The Queen of Spades is an inner master of life and herself, so you can be realizing or uplifting your deepest dreams during this period. Expect some realizations that are profound and life changing. This card also teaches us to not expect the external world to change, but for us to master our inner-self and change within. This will allow you to experience more joy and success. Any woman of the spades suit that you experience during this period will be objectively hard to see. You could project onto them your dreams, but remember while in Neptune you do not see clearly so do not make any important decisions during this time until you are in your next Mercury period.
That will be all for now on our planetary periods, I will dive deeper into this in my next few articles, but if you have any questions please comment below!
