Amy Carlson was born November 30th, 1975 and died April 16th, 2021. She was known by her followers as Mother God, and was a religious leader for the movement “Love has won”. Her followers believed that she was God. Her body was found mummified. You can catch this documentary on HBO.
With any cult leader, I need to look at their cards. Amy was a 3 of Hearts/5 of Clubs. There is a lot to unpack with these two cards. Any 3 and 5 usually lends itself to a more difficult life path.
3 of Hearts
First of all, the 3 of Hearts is the bi-sexual card of the deck. The documentary showed her having a few male partners in her cult that she was intimate with, but nothing was mentioned around intimacy with females. And even if she was not bi-sexual, the 3 of Hearts is able to have more than 1 sexual partner at a time just based on their need to express themselves and have a creative channel.
The 3 of Hearts also has a Negative Karma card of the Ace of Hearts, which really is a search for self love. Many 3’s will go from partner to partner looking to satiate that need for self love when that love really is within them the entire time.
At their best, the 3 of Hearts can align our passion, love and emotion. It’s like a compass of hearts pointing in one direction. On the negative side, this card is able to be so mind driven about love that it makes them prone to indecision and worry about getting enough love. Think of the symbology of two hearts in one direction and the third heart facing the opposite direction - indecision.
Her positive Karma is the Queen of Clubs. The Queen of Clubs is the mother Mary card, so it is very likely that she could have been very psychic and received downloads from the universe or from God. It is said this card can talk to God. So perhaps she was getting messages that led her to believe she was “Mother God”.
She died in her Prebirth Year, at age 44.
One thing I found really interesting is that she died at age 44, her Prebirth Year. In the cards, the Prebirth year means that we have returned to the original location in the Grand Solar Spread when we were in the womb of our mother. This year can be somewhat wonky, feeling like we are back in the womb again, and quite confusing.
It is believed that our cards we have during this year are connected to our past life karma that led us to being born again in this lifetime. I just found it very interesting that she did call herself Mother God and died in the year where she had that “womb” energy.
It is also possible that her 5 of Hearts Karma card she had for that year could have indicated that she was moving on from the physical world. The 5 of Hearts can mean traveling heart, change of relationship, divorce, or leaving the home. This is not something you would look at and think she was going to die, but in hindsight you could see that being a possible influence. I will say the cards in your Prebirth year are strange because they fall in exact perfect order (Image below).

5 of Clubs
The 5 of Clubs is so interesting to me because they have all of this 5 Energy as a challenge, as well as power struggles in their Pluto position with the 9 of Spades.
The 5 Energy that is a challenge for them is first that the 5 of Clubs is a restless mind card. It’s a card of mental dissatisfaction. They have ADD and can’t sleep. But at the same time they get rewarded for new ideas, are quite open minded and are good at exploring new things. However, they just never are happy with what they have.
Their 1st Karma is the 5 of Hearts which is the restless heart card. This is the divorce card, the eternally restless card. They are easily distracted, fickle, moody and have a desire to just have new experiences. If the four of hearts represents the home, the 5 of Hearts takes away all of that stability and has a desire to meet new people and try new things.
They also have the 5 of Spades as their Saturn card. That is three 5s in one life spread! The 5 of spades may be the strongest of the 5s and is a wanderer and a seeker. They are a social card that is always on the go due to their 10 of Hearts Karma (throw a party card). They sometimes make the social situation more important than themselves and run themselves dry. It is apparent in the documentary that she was always being social, drinking, partying, livestreaming, and her health seemed to really suffer as a result.
Looking at her life spread below, that Ace of Spades in Venus gives her a love for the secret. There is always a secret lover in the back of their mind, or a love for the occult.
Her Pluto 9 of Spades card would lead us to believe that she would struggle with power issues with her partners as her lifetime challenge. This is due to the 9 of Spades King of Hearts Karma. But really at the end of the day these people are searching for their perfect love affair (2 of Hearts).
What sticks out most to me is her 5 energy. According to her family, one night they were all out and she left to go home. When they got home she had packed up some stuff and was gone forever, never returning home. She left kids and family behind to go start on her path. It seems like only a 5 could do this!
April 16th, 2021
Amy Died on April 16th, 2021. She was in her lifetime Jupiter period with a 5 of Clubs and 9 of Hearts. The 9 of Hearts is a wish card. When she died it was termed that she was “ascending” and not dying. Not sure if that was her wish, but her followers really did believe she was going to get picked up from the sky or come back to her in some way.
She was also in a Saturn year with an Ace of Spades.
On a mundane level this translates to concealed or secretive health issues or troubles. It also means beginnings and ends. Looking at her you could tell her trouble was not concealed as she was turning blue from abusing Colloidal Silver and her organs were failing. But still, it is a traditional death card, and when in Saturn, makes an even stronger case.
In her yearly period, she was in her Mars period with the 10 of Diamonds (Center of attention) and 8 of Hearts. Both these cards are in the Jupiter column. This would be seen as a good thing!
She also had a 5 of hearts in her Planetary ruling spread which could indicate her leaving or moving on with her journey. And lastly, look at her Pluto card - the 6 of Spades. This would tell you one of her challenges for the year was going to be in the area of health. This is also a very fated/karmic card. It’s a payment for past debts. It’s also known as a purpose finding year, and for her it very well could be that her purpose was to “ascend”.
On the day of her death, she died on her Venus day with a King of Clubs/4 of Hearts. This would be seen as a successful death (King of Clubs) on her part, or at least satisfactory (4 of Hearts) especially in Venus which is a mini Jupiter in some ways. And remember Venus rules the home, and the 4 of Hearts is the home card and the cancer card of the deck.
She also had a 9 of Spades/9 of Hearts which would speak to illness or endings of life (Spades), or at least the ending of a lifestyle, as well as and the endings of relationships (hearts).
The weekly cards are the weakest of the cards in terms of influence, but it was really interesting looking at her cards and not seeing too many difficult combinations there. It was almost like her death was a success for her.
