How to find your 7 Year Cards and yearly Long Range

I recently wrote about how you can find your yearly cards by looking at the different Yearly Quadrations. You can also get a bigger Macro view of your cards by zooming out and looking at your 7 Year Spreads.

The 7 Year Spreads will give you your cards for the next 7 years. Each year is assigned a card which helps you develop a gameplan around your year. What is interesting is that your card for each year is actually your yearly Long Range Card.

When we start a new 7 Year period, we follow the order of the Planets.

• Year 1 is a Mercury Year

• Year 2 is a Venus Year

• Year 3 is a Mars Year

• Year 4 is a Jupiter Year

• Year 5 is a Saturn Year

• Year 6 is a Uranus Year

• Year 7 is a Neptune Year

This is great to know even without knowing your cards. You can how Saturn years are more difficult as they provide Karma and 7 Year Challenges for us to overcome. Jupiter Years give us more fortune and blessings and our Venus years can be very focused on relationships, friends and family.

How to find your 7 Year cards

As all of the spreads are fractal and quadrated, we will use certain spreads for specific time periods to find our 7 Year Spreads.

• Age 0 Spread: Ages 0-6

• Age 1 Spread: Ages 7-13

• Age 2 Spread: Ages 14-20

• Age 3 Spread: Ages 21-27

• Age 4 Spread: Ages 28-34

• Age 5 Spread: Ages 35-41

• Age 6 Spread: Ages 42-48

• Age 7 Spread: Ages 49-55

• Age 8 Spread: Ages 56-62

An example

Let’s say that you are an 8 of Diamonds Birth Card that is just born. So you technically are a few days old or 0 Years old. We consult the Age 0 Spread which covers the Long Range Cards/7 Year Cards for ages 0-6.

We start counting at age 0 with the King of Spades. So, your 7 Year or Yearly Card at age 0 is the King of Spades. Your 7 Year or Yearly Card at age 2 is the 3 of Hearts. At age 3 you have the Ace of Clubs. Age 4 is the Queen of Clubs, Age 5 is the 10 of Spades, Age 6 is the 5 of Clubs and we finish our 7 Year Spread with the 3 of Diamonds as our yearly card.

Remember, these 7 Year Cards are also your yearly Long Range card which tells you what you will be focusing on that year.

Also note that each year is represented by a Planet. So at age 0 you are in a Mercury Year, Age 1 is a Venus Year, Age 2 is a Mars Year and so on.

Vertical Cards

Just like we did with the Yearly Spreads, you can also find your Yearly Vertical card. This will help add details and give you more information about your focus for the year. For our 8 of Diamonds person, their Vertical 7 Year cards look like this.

We travel up on the spread. If we start at the top then we go back to the bottom and work our way back up. So the Vertical 7 Year Cards here are

• Age 0: 8 of Hearts

• Age 1: 7 of Spades

• Age 2: 3 of Spades

• Age 3: 10 of Diamonds

• Age 4: 4 of Clubs

• Age 5: Jack of Hearts

• Age 6: 10 of Spades

Putting this all together this is what we get for the first 7 Year Spread

• Age 0: Mercury Year - King of Spades/8 of Hearts

• Age 1: Venus Year - 3 of Hearts/7 of Spades

• Age 2: Mars Year - Ace of Clubs/3 of Spades

• Age 3: Jupiter Year - Queen of Clubs/10 of Diamonds

• Age 4: Saturn Year - 10 of Spades/4 of Clubs

• Age 5: Uranus Year - 5 of Clubs/Jack of Hearts

• Age 6: Neptune Year - 3 of Diamonds/10 of Spades

Also note that the Pluto/Result card for the horizontal spread is the Ace of Spades and 7 of Hearts. So, you have the Pluto (transformational challenge) card and Result (what you end up with) for your 7 year period right here in the spreads.

2nd Example to test yourself

Let’s say that our 8 of Diamonds person is now turning 42. We would consult the Neptune Year Age 6 Spread as that covers the 7 Year Spread for ages 42-48.

• Age 42: Mercury Year - 8 of hearts/8 of Clubs

If we continue going to look at the whole spread, we just move right to left for our horizontal/direct cards and up for our Vertical cards.

• Age 43: Venus Year - 9 of Diamonds/2 of Hearts

• Age 44: Mars Year - 2 of Clubs/King of Clubs

• Age 45: Jupiter Year - 5 of Hearts/10 of Hearts

• Age 46: Saturn Year - 9 of Hearts/5 of Clubs

• Age 47: Uranus Year - Queen of Hearts/Ace of Spades

• Age 48: Neptune Year - Ace of Spades/ No Vertical Card

7 Year Karma Cards

Notice where the 8 of Diamonds sits at age 42. It’s in the spot of the Ace of Diamonds. This gives them a 7 Year Karmic Challenge with the Ace of Diamonds. This would tell them they need to initiate and build things of value or work on starting a new business. Especially for an 8 of Diamonds, this would be very important. There will be something they need to work through during the 7 Years while in this spread.

Their positive Karma or Environment card for this 7 Year period is the 10 of Spades because the 10 of Spades sits in the original position where the 8 of Diamonds is in the Grand Solar Spread. The Karmic gift here is that any work related activities should be met with great success. It also tells us this person can overcome any health or work challenges. It’s a very favorable influence.
