Astro-Analysis: The 1998 Chicago Bulls

cardpsychology.substack.com

This will be an ongoing series about the 1998 Chicago Bulls. One of the best way to look at the cards is from a team dynamics perspective. It truly can give guidance to your purpose and role amongst others. I am going to start with the starting lineup for the Bulls by going through their birth cards as well as their composite cards, as I think there are some interesting observations. Future posts will go through their relationship connections as well as their planetary periods during the 1998 title run.

Composite Card

One thing I wanted to share was that you have a composite card that is a combination of your two birth cards. For example, a 2 of Spades + an 8 of Hearts would equal solar values of 41+8, which equals 49, the Solar Value for the 10 of Spades. The 10 of Spades would be the composite card. It’s a combination that I believe shows you the result of playing both birth cards the right way, or in the higher energy frequency. Take a look at the Solar Value Chart again below. This is one of the keys when looking at team performance.

Another example, the 1/28 Birthday is a Queen of Clubs and 7 of Diamonds. The Solar Value for these cards are 25 and 33. 25+33 = 58. When we go over 52 (52 cards in the deck), we must subtract 52 from the number. Therefore, this combination results in 58-52=6, the 6 of Hearts.

Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup

  • Ron Harper, 1/20/1964, 7 of Diamonds (33), 2 of Hearts (2), 9 of Diamonds (35)

  • Michael Jordan, 2/17/1963, 8 of Diamonds (34), 5 of Clubs (18), King of Spades (52)

  • Scottie Pippen, 9/25/1965, Queen of Hearts (12), 8 of Diamonds (34), 7 of Spades (46)

  • Dennis Rodman, 5/13/1961, 6 of Diamonds (32), 10 of Hearts (10), 3 of Spades (42)

  • Luc Longley, 1/19/1969, 8 of Diamonds (34), 10 of Spades (49), 5 of Diamonds (83-52=31)

Ron Harper

Ron was born to play the 7 of Diamonds and 2 of Hearts. He revitalized his career with with the Bulls by changing his role from scorer early in his career to a more traditional point guard that was defensive minded. As a 7 of Diamonds, he was continuously adjusting, adapting and pivoting. He was a great athletic scorer until he dealt with injuries. 7s on the high side are able to make adjustments and align themselves to stay ahead of the curve. Ron’s Composite card is a 9 of Diamonds. The 9 of Diamonds are here to give to the universal good and learn to let go. These people do very well in business and have great minds.

Michael Jordan

As an 8 of Diamonds, MJ is the Sun card of the deck. They are usually destined to rise to great heights in life. This is the card of fame and fortune. 8 of Diamonds are powerful and can be dominating. As they are the Sun card in the deck, they almost look down on the rest of the spread and play by different rules than the other cards. Their Queen of Spades Karma tells them to stop trying to control people and focus on changing their world from within. As a 5 of Clubs secondary Birth Card, he was very mentally restless and always had to be doing something competitive. This is the most mentally dissatisfied card in the deck as they are always seeking that mental treasure. Lastly, what I find really interesting is his Composite card is the the King of Spades, the highest card in the deck. The King of Spades is the King of Kings, they have full mastery over their domain. This is a willful King, they do not budge. They master whatever they want to master.

Scottie Pippen

As a Queen of Hearts, Pip is here to love all he comes in contact with. Queen of Hearts are generally the mothers of the deck, and during his career Pip definitely played the good cop with teammates and took a supportive role with them versus MJ’s tough and combative leadership style. Pip also has the 8 of Diamonds as his secondary card, giving him that fame and fortune ability as well as playing by different rules than others. Pip’s 7 of Spades Composite card could speak to some of his health issues through his career. He had severe back issues that somewhat plagued him from time to time in the late 80s and late 90s. 7 of Spades often have accidents or health issues which is the karma they must work through in this lifetime.

Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman was born to play the 6 of Diamonds and 10 of Hearts with a 3 of Spades Composite card. Many know Rodman’s exploits on and off the court, and it’s funny to me that he was born with a 6 of Diamonds, the card of responsibility and Karma. These people can fall into ruts or have a hard time changing course. This card also has a deep fear of abandonment and must give themselves the love that they seek. His second card, the 10 of hearts is the life of the party, and always in the middle of big groups, and successful at that. His 3 of Spades Composite card is the artists card and they can be very successful in their life if they are able to work for it. This card often faces emotional challenges that begin early in their life which causes them the need for positive mental habits that help to combat their restlessness.

Luc Longley

Luc Longley was born to play the 8 of Diamonds with a 10 of Spades resulting in a 5 of Diamonds Composite card. On the surface, you would not view Luc as an 8 of Diamonds, the Sun card like MJ and Pippen. But he was the first Australian basketball player to play in the NBA, so that fame and fortune did come. His 10 of Spades secondary card is a success of work card. These people can accomplish anything and are super workers. Luc was interesting, he was a big surfer and seen as kind of too relaxed at times by MJ. His 5 of Diamonds Composite maybe helps to tell that story as these people dislike routine or anything that limits their freedom. These people are closely connected to the 9 of Diamonds through their karma, which forces them to give to the universal good in order to receive what they want.

My next article will focus on their team dynamics as well as an overview of other players.
