I thought it was interesting that today is ruled by the Ace of Spades but it is also Good Friday, which commemorates Jesus dying on the cross only to rise again on Easter Sunday. This is a death and a rebirth story in the bible. The Ace of Spades is a traditional death card, but it is also a card of transformation and rebirth. When we see this card in our spread, we can expect that a way of living or lifestyle is coming to an end, and we are re-inventing ourself into something else.
The Ace of Spades is a special card. It is the most powerful of Aces and even the creator of our card system -the Magi’s were Ace of Spades as it rules esoteric knowledge. You’ll also notice that of all the Aces, the symbol on this card is bigger, almost to represent the large scale change you can make with it.
The Ace of Spades is the ancient symbology of mystery and secrets, and it really represents an acorn that falls from the tree and then creates something out of nothing, in this case, that something is a light of consciousness and new awareness.
If you find this card in Jupiter, it may indicate a new job or lifestyle that will benefit you. If found in Venus, it might speak to a secret lover. If found in Saturn, it could signal a significant rebirth experience where you drop your ego and a part of you dies to make room for some large scale transformation.
Certain Cards have the Ace of Spades in a tough position. For example, the 2 of Clubs has the Ace of Spades as its karma card, which gives the 2 of clubs a fear of death or just fear in general. The Ace of Clubs has the Ace of Spades as their Saturn card, teaching them that they need to go through these karmic lifestyle deaths and rebirths over the course of their life. It also is probably why Ace of Clubs have difficult relationship/dating experiences. For the 8 of Diamonds, they have the Ace of Spades in their Pluto position, which points to them working on a lifetime transformation that teaches them to be spiritually minded versus materially minded.
Most Ace of Spades are very sensitive as they have the 7 of Hearts as their first Karma card. This usually means that they need to deal with a fear of abandonment and let people be who they are going to be in relationships. This card usually finds relationships impossible and instead they focus on material gain and work. They can become workaholics even and forget about the spiritual side of life.
Therefore, the goal for this card is to turn inward. This is the one card that can make huge gains in the spiritual world, so they must make sure not to close that side off and always look inside for answers. They may even learn that they were meant to pass on this exact esoteric science to others for their benefit.
